Warranty and Refund Process

The EcoPeach Guarantee: 

 

All goods are guaranteed against defects in workmanship and materials for a period of six (6) months from the date of purchase. If you have a baby EDD after this period and have not yet had the chance to use the nappy please contact us to extend the warranty.  We trust our products completely, so all our products are fully warranted against defects in materials and workmanship.  We are committed to complying with all our obligations under Australian consumer laws.  If a product fails due to a major manufacturing fault or material defect, you can ask for a replacement or refundFor a minor fault or defect, we may repair it free of charge, or if it is not practical to repair it, we will replace it or offer a refund at our discretion.  

 

What is covered by our Warranty? 

Our warranty routinely covers manufacture faults to most elastics, snaps, TPU waterproofing, seams and zippers. This includes: 

  • Functional Stitching defects (not a cosmetic issue) 
  • Snap defect- faulty snaps at time of puchase 
  • Elastics that become 'slack' within 1 month of use when washed correctly 
  • Zipper defects whereby zipper will not open or close properly 
  • Inserts- stitching defect causing the bamboo fabric to come unattached by the over-locked edging. 

What is not covered by our warranty? 

Our warranty does not cover normal wear & tear, natural fibre wear holes, pilling, broken snaps, snags or shrinkage. We will not cover for incorrect or improper usage which includes; 

  • Poor fit on your baby- including leaking 
  • Staining 
  • Nappy odour 
  • Turning gray or fading 
  • Misuse by owner 
  • Pulls from getting stuck in machines- this includes washing machine and drier 
  • Bleach soaks/any bleaching/bleach burns 
  • Vinegar soak 

Prints may appear slightly different to the pictures advertised including the direction of the print. This is not a manufacturing fault and adds fun of cloth nappy purchase. 

The warranty is void if a customer has failed to follow the products Care Instructions. This includes, but is not limited to the following: 

  • Water temperature exceeding 60ºC(140ºF) 
  • A detergent containing additives (whiteners, bleach, dyes, perfumes, essential oils) or natural soap 
  • Fabric softeners 
  • Any caustic substance 
  • Soaking 
  • Modifications of any kind, including cutting off tags 
  • Excessive wash routine and/or excessive wear and tear 
  • Accidental damage (items caught/torn/melted in a washing machine/dryer) 

Due to prints stocking requirements and production times, another print that is in stock can be chosen as your warranty replacement if your print is not in stock.

Our goods come with guarantees that cannot be excluded under the Australian Consumer Law. You are entitled to a replacement or refund for a major failure and for compensation for any other reasonably foreseeable loss or damage. You are also entitled to have the goods repaired or replaced if the goods fail to be of acceptable quality and the failure does not amount to a major failure. 

 

To keep warranty valid please ensure the following: 

Wash at a MAX temp of 60ºC(140ºF) 

Max machine spin speed is 800RPM- High speeds can damage the elastics 

LOW tumble dry only for shells as high heat can damage PUL waterproofing 

To avoid damaging or fading fabrics, do not soak in chemicals or bleaches, unless doing a once off strip and sanitize clean. 

Nappy rash, skin barrier creams are fine to use but will require a warm to hot wash to remove oil and zinc residue that will impact absorbency. If using nappy rash cream you should use a liner to avoid wear on the nappy inner.

Please provide details of your issue, order number and images of the damage/fault. 

A decision will be made regarding replacement. Before shipping replacement items or processing refunds, we require that either the faulty items are returned to us or we are provided evidence that they have been destroyed to our specification. We will provide instructions as part of the return process. We are unable to make an exception to this requirement.
